A blonde is walking through a department store when she spots a shiny, metallic object on a shelf. Intrigued, she asks the clerk, “Excuse me, what is this beautiful silver thing?”
The clerk smiles and says, “That’s a thermos! It’s incredible—it keeps hot things hot and cold things cold.”
The blonde is mesmerized. “Wow,” she says, “that’s exactly what I need for my lunch at work! I’ll take it.”
The next day, she arrives at the office with her new thermos sitting proudly on her desk. Her boss, also a blonde, walks by and notices it. “Hey, that’s a nice-looking container. What is it?”
“It’s a thermos!” she replies enthusiastically. “The guy at the store said it keeps hot things hot and cold things cold.”
The boss is impressed. “That is amazing technology! So, what do you have inside it today?”
The blonde beams and says, “Two cups of hot coffee and a popsicle!”
mean, you have to admire the logic, right? She really thought the thermos had a brain of its own to sort out the temperatures!
